Sorry you're feeling so bad just now. Shutting people out is so tempting when you free anxious and depressed and, in the short term it may make you feel better, but isolation also perpetuates the problem in the longer term, so keeping contact with a few people will be beneficial, even if it provokes anxiety in the short term.
I look on medication as a way to help you manage your symptoms when they are causing difficulty so you can address the underlying issues and triggers, or natural recovery has time to occur.
