Friends,

My Dad was handsome and tall. Many people outside our family knew him better than we. He initially blocked my going to college, but much later stood behind me. We were good friends when he went to Heaven. Next year he will be gone 15 years.

He was a naval pilot during WWII, and flew the wounded back from the Pacific. I will always be so proud of him for the bravery he showed in his flying career.
