You don't choose your beliefs. What makes sense to you, makes sense. There may not be a specific religion that fits your beliefs, but you can be religious without belong to an organized religion. I think you should examine many religions and see if any fit your beliefs more accurately than Christianity or Buddhism, if they're not working for you. Or, maybe a specific denomination of Christianity is for you.
You can find other sources for being social. Maybe volunteer at a pet shelter, if you like animals. Join a club. Go to a themed event. There are lots of options.
