Honestly, your college years are way too short to spend time living with someone you don't like.

If I could do it over again, I'd insist upon changing roommates. It's not the most difficult thing school residence administrators have had to do, despite the fact that they'll try to talk you into sticking it out. But as I said, college is just too short to have to put up with a situation you're miserable in.
