Hi Sabrina. Yes, I can definitely identify with your issues around food since you've quit the booze. This is really a common problem, almost swopping one addiction for another, and yes, foos CAN become an addiction like any other! It's actually one of my addictions, hence when I'm trying to cut back on food, I often start drinking or/and taking OTC meds instead of eating far too much. Usually you find given time, things will start to settle down on their own and you'll simply go back to your 'normal' eating pattern and your 'normal' choices in food. I wish you well my friend.
