anyone else feel like the only way to make things better is by first making them worse?

i dont see a way out without first crashing... but i have crashed, emotionally, already... and i dont know how to get resources without finding a way to prove to the system that i desperately need them. and i dont know if i am brave enough to make changes like move unless i am too desperate not to...
