I am looking to go into therapy again. I have 3 options.
Therapist 1 - Went for 3 sessions with her. It could be my views clouding my judgement, but made me feel fat - I guess she just wanted me to be accountable. The main issue, she seemed to talk a little about herself while in therapy and conducted 1 session in her home (mansion, rather). She was alone in the home (mansion), but didn't lock the door and ensure my privacy...etc.
Also, despite knowing I'm against some thing (like marriage as solution for happiness and depression), she actually told me that it's true sometimes. Isn't marriage a personal choice?
Above all, she wanted to prescribe anti-depressants, when she was a therapist, not a doctor.
Therapist 2 - I inquired to her before I went to Therapist 1, but she didn't reply for 2 days. Later, I got a message from her, asking me about fixing an appointment. I replied that I already fixed with another therapist. She messaged saying she delivered a baby....I mean personal details to someone she's never met...and may not be in right frame of mind.
My next option is to try someone completely different....but don't know how good or bad they'll be....
What would be your advice? I'm right now leaning on Therapist 1. And sorry for my english, it's not my first language.
