I didn't realize this, but did a quick internet search and found lots of info. about it. It seemed to stress being careful about vitamin E, but also suggested checking with your doctor. It would probably be good to ask if you have the opportunity.

If you do decide to take a multivitamin, I'd suggest taking it in the morning for sure or with your first food of the day. I've had problems in the past with insomnia from the B vitamins in multivitamins.

An omega-3 supplement is helpful for both mood and weight loss, and chromium picolinate is supposed to help with food cravings and smooth out your insulin peaks and lows.

If you will be seeing your doctor who prescribes your nortriptyline soon, I would ask, though, just to be on the safe side.
