Well I have PTSD because of the trauma I went through when I was growing up from my dad's abuse he inflicted on me. But I was homeless and living in a homeless shelter for a year. It was a very traumatic experience. Can going through something like being homeless aggravate or make your PTSD worse? I feel like going through homelessness really affected me on top of the abuse my dad inflicted on me. And I actually have flash backs from when I was homeless about all the bad things that I went through when I was homeless. I have folders with papers from when I was homeless. I can't look at the papers in the folders without having instant flash backs. I honestly think that my PTSD was made worse by this experience. Am I the only one that thinks that you can develop worse PTSD from this kind of experience?
