is it possible to be triggered into mania? I saw a pdoc for the 2nd time, and he basically hinted at me that I have bipolar. others have hinted it at me too, but I felt like I gave them the wrong information and they took it as bipolar. but the last time I saw my pdoc, and he said that, he gave me lamictal, and as soon as I took it, I was manic. I had racing thoughts and I didn't sleep for a week.
can lamictal cause mania?
or can my brain "trick" me into thinking I am bipolar?
was it just a coincidence that I had an episode when he mentioned bipolar?
I'm just not so sure if I am bipolar, or if I'm making it all up.
