I also have constant, chronic pain all over, and have for most of my life. Since hitting my 50's it's much worse, generally. I once dared to mention fibromyalgia to my otherwise-helpful NP and she jumped on me like I'd demanded she hand me her paycheck.

I want to exercise but it hurts so much, I end up taking a short walk or doing some yoga stretches. I feel like that's all I can manage...if I push it further I end up feeling nauseated and awful.

One of my sisters has fibro and she takes care of herself by setting her own schedule and resting a lot. She flat-out will not give anyone or anything her time/energy when she doesn't feel up to it (which is most of the time).

Chronic mental illness is bad enough...but then add chronic pain to it.....OUCH.
