I'm just curious what happens when you tell a therapist that you self-harm. Does it stay confidential? Are they required to disclose it to someone else? My therapist's confidentiality agreement discusses suicidal behaviors/what happens if you have intentions to kill yourself or if you're considered a danger to yourself. Does self-harm fall into that category?
