I am wondering if anybody here has taken time off, when exactly and how that has helped you.
I technically unintentionally took time off-I graduated last year and was planning to work as soon as I get a job. But with a family illness plus a massive burnout, it pushed to a long time.
I have been unemployed now for over a year now. It has been depressing in its own; I feel like my mental quickness is staggering, I find myself bored easily and unwilling to socialize due to embarrassment. I have only managed to do a volunteer task in this time off but I also notice that it did at least help me make sense of my burnout during college and evaluate what went wrong.
Other ideas of making the most out of improving your mental health while you have the time would be great.
