For the sake of answering your really awesome question - I would say I like Borderline Personality Disorder the best.
Reason being is - we have a strong associated stigma that often scares therapists and mental health professionals away. Is that really a bad thing? Doesn't this mean that we will be assigned people who take a special interest in our disorder and in treating us specifically? Perhaps we attract more seasoned professionals too. I know that in university - the professor made fun of those with Borderline and I didn't speak up in class because it was very insightful to hear what he had to say. After the class I approached him and told him I had Borderline and from that point forward - he was very kind to me in class. There's a certain mystique attached to our label and for what it's worth - I don't think it is entirely a bad thing.
Just a thought.
Also - I think about the other illness names just sound funny. I know that emotional dysregulation is the hallmark of BPD but lets be honest - there is much more to it. Borderline seems to point out the severity of the disorder and is pops off the page much more. It's as if the words Borderline Personality Disorder come with a large yellow triangle and a massive exclamation mark - and to be quite honest - I don't mind that!
