Oh dear, I would seriously consider changing therapists in this instance silentlyscreaming.
She is not being professional by comparing you to other clients, putting words in your mouth, blabbing on to your mother & I cannot believe she says that you’ve traumatized her??!
Therapy shouldn’t be about defending yourself but having a companion on the journey – someone who is on your side, willing to listen to you, in many ways take cues from you but mostly respect you.
I really think you’d be better off with someone else. Yes, it can be a hassle at times (but not always) to ‘shop’ for a therapist but it *is* worth pursuing. After all, a good match between therapist-client goes a long way in establishing, and in assisting, the therapeutic relationship….
