She is saying all these things about mental illness. So I assume also you haven't told her (as a result) about the things you are going through? I feel for you.
That must be so hard to hear your mom say that, I'm so sorry. I experience something similar when people talk about autism ignorantly. It's difficult to hear them say those things knowing you can't say anything because you'll "out" yourself. Many hugs.
