i have a nest of wrens in a boston fern. they look like they are almost ready to fly. it isn't unusual for wrens to rear three batches in one season.
i have woodpeckers in a big hole in a tree. starlings took it over and the woodpeckers ran them off. there are two pairs of wrens, so there must be another nest here.
i have two sets of hummingbird parents. so, there are two nests. did you know they feed their babies insects?
i have a male and female horned owl by the creek. haven't found their next yet as i don't want to spook them too much.
a big lizard laid eggs in a flower bed and i'm waiting for the babies to emerge.
toads are digging holes and i'm waiting on babies.
