1. I spent a long time getting to know my husband before we got together, so him telling me about his dx didn't surprise me too much, just explained certain things a bit more.

2. I have a bachelors degree I psych, have an invested interest in "abnormal psych", have worked with individuals with psych disorders (comorbid with intellectual disabilities) as well as a sister with a similar Dx.
