My son's in the hospital. The social worker called me and asked about him. I told her he was stable but that he didn't seem to get a lot of pleasure from life. I spoke at length - maybe five minutes. I said he needed to have a reason to get up in the morning, something to do that he enjoys. Then she asked me if he ever talked to me about the voices he hears.
Why is that the most interesting thing about him? Or maybe I'm reading too much into the question.
She also wanted to know if he's med-compliant. It's probably just my mistrust of mental health people that's making me wonder about her.
