What i saw was that most people got along just fine with their room mates. Yea, you hear the horror stories about the room mate who steals stuff or or has loud sex while youre in the room, but, its unlikely youll be stuck with one of those ppl. And if you are you can commute like CANDC said or even just make a room change request which will be approved and youll be matched with someone whois a better fit. DO they still have you fill out questionnaires about your ideal room mate before you move in to match you with the right ppl? Well, I'm pretty sure they do that if you make a room request too.

Anyways, enjoy college it's okay/normal to have the concerns you have stormie. really almost everyone has them. try to join a bunch of clubs and meet as many ppl as possible.

Yes they do the questionnaires. And it seems as my roommates are nice, but its more not being at home, then having to talk and interact with them. Also Having to meet all new people, rather than having know them for a few years.
