Thanks Erin! The MRI was completely normal. So I asked about PT w/ultrasound and he said that was fine, but then he was concerned because I have a fibroma on my tibia. The orthopod already said it was fine, but the specialist doesn't want me to have ultrasound until I have another xray to make sure the fibroma didn't grow.

Then he called back and said he prefer I have a bone scan. So I go on Tuesday for the bone scan and depending on what that shows (if nothing) then I can go to PT. He said my only other alternative is cortisone injections; however, I had one in each hip two years ago when I was diagnosed and they only lasted three days. So he won't go that route.

I take Ultracet for pain but that doesn't really work anymore and the doc I go to is homeopathic so he doesn't precribe meds. I'm going for my annual physical on Wed with my PCP so I'm going to see if she will prescribe anything different.
