I know they moved it into its own category with other related disorders. I think they moved it so other disorders related to OCD would be patched with it. Like skin-picking and hair-pulling were under impulse control I think. I think there must have been obsessed with their hair or skin and had the compulsion to pick or pull at it. I think anyways.
There is still anxiety to it of course, but it relates to other conditions that might not have the same level of anxiety? I looked it up on Google and found nothing answering this question and I looked in the DSM-V and nothing came up either.
