It's hard when people are not consistent about what it is that they want you to do. And I guess the answer is to make up your own mind and listen to your inner voice instead, but the repercussions still hit, and oh boy do I know what that feels like. It is so frustrating! Still you can't please everyone and you can't please anyone all of the time. Those are universal truths. So you need to start listening to what you want to do and what you feel is right and important.
