My two cats are spectacular! One of them greets me at the door when I come in.. or a few seconds after I come in she comes trotting out, often meowing at me. Same kitten sorta bolts down the stairs after me if I head to the basement - if she's on time with me then she skids across the floor, if she didn't notice I went downstairs right away then she comes running downstairs and meows like the world is ending.

They're both very snuggly. Snuggly and chatty. I've trained them well. They are also both highly entertaining.

They make me feel less lonely at home, and they give me something that I HAVE to do.

And they give me a good excuse to talk outloud all the time. Although recently I've noticed that I talk to animals the same way I do babies, and that I talk to my students in a similar fashion just with a different tone of voice, lol!
