My husband was in the service for eight years. How about your sil? My husband is 15 years older than I am, so, I didn't meet him until 15 years after he left the Navy. We've been together 18 years & really should have looked into this sooner. He was able to work most of the time. Has your sil learned if his cancer is service related? For something like that, it may take a little longer to get a response, but, the amount he'd receive should be higher. I will keep him in my thoughts & prayers.
