I went cold turkey off Klonopin (after going from 4 mg to 2.5) and I was so unbelievably sick I had to go inpatient. I was cut off by a nurse practitioner. It was a nightmare. If I could have stayed on it the rest of my life, I would have chosen that over the benzodiazepene withdrawal syndrome I still have over two years later. I wish you the best.
