I was denied for life insurance by a bunch of companies - not because of the bipolar but because I was on SSDI for it. I was able to get a $100,000 accidental death policy. Now that I am working again and will be going of SSDI I will apply again - but of course, I have gained 40 lbs so who knows what they will say about that!
