Hello. Recently, I learned that my hormones aren't at the levels they are suppose to be at. I have been getting minor mood fluctuation of happiness of depression.

During my happy period, I will feel really happy like I'm at the top of the world. I seem to have a good self-esteem (other than my anxiety problems), I talk a lot, I giggle and laugh at any sentence said basically. I say things that I probably wouldn't normally say and it hurts the relationship I have with my friends.

During my sad period, I am super depressed, lose interest in doing anything, eat too much, sleep either too little or much, depending on the day, I don't want to talk or do anything.
Possible trigger:
I just get the stereotypical MDD.

Anyways, the happy period is like 3-5 days while my depression changes from only 2 weeks to 2 months. This just started recently (the happy period thing), so I don't know if that was because of my doctor stating I have hormones that aren't normal. I am going to the hospital for that next week, so.

A lot of the time during my happy period, when I am giggling non-stop, my family says "take a chill pill". I can't control if I feel that happy and stuff.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
