So I read this article about low thyroid being implicated in the muscle aches, anxiety, depression, fatigue, etc. that are part of the fibromyalgia and myofacial pain package....

So I'm off to an endocronologist to check out my thryoid function.

Just wondering if anyone's fibro/myofacial pain has improved when addressing the low thyroid issue....and whether low thyroid was an issue at all....

My internist did check for low thyroid but I hear that docs normally check the TSH levels and what needs to be looked into is the levels of Free T3 and Free T4.

If anyone's interested, here's where I picked up some info. I don't know the folks who run the site...so won't put my faith in them....but y'never know...they may be on to something.... at www.stopthethyroidmadness dot com.
