My insomnia takes on a little different picture.......I need to get some things done before I go to sleep.....if I were really tired, I could just sit down & go to sleep, so it's ok to do some things until I get that tired.

Wow, I have stripped the wallpaper off one whole wall......or I got 3 cabinets cleaned & the lining paper put in.....or......1000 other projects.

Oh MY!!!!!!!! why is it so light in here......oh, the sun is coming up.....where did that come from.....it was just 1am a few minutes ago????????

I'm still not that tired.....think I will still keep going & see how much more I can get done.

Around 4PM later that day. I sit down to take a breather & 6 hours later, my doggie is licking my face telling me "MOM, you forgot my potty walk!!!!!!!!"

Then comes the I'm awake at this time of morning & I just slept 7 hours & now I have energy again......what a way to mess up a body clock!!!!!!

I can however relate with you, but when I can't sleep I usually start to do things on my list rather than just lay there counting the holes in my ceiling.

Actually, my sleep has become so much better now that I am here in Kentucky. In California, my nightmares were so bad I was afraid to sleep & had to take a high dose of seroquel to be able to sleep without nightmares.....which would absolutely knock me out & then I couldn't wake up easily.

I think I like this way of not sleeping much better than the other,
