As I said in my previous thread, I am currently on probation period on a new job.
Today was the payday, and the thing is, that they gave me more money, like 40% more, than they should have. I was happy about it, I thought, that they started paying me full salary, but during the day I became more and more suspicious, that they were wrong. So I went to the "salary guys", and asked if they gave me too much money. It turned out, they did, it was a mistake...
I don't know, if I did the right thing. The truth is, money has been tight lately, and I really could use a couple of extra bucks...
Now I don't feel glad about being paid today at all, because I know, that I do here much more work than my current salary implies... And I know, that those 40% are like nothing to this company. They didn't even care actually, when I came to them to ask question about it...
So how do you guys think? Was it right from me to return the surplus?
