Your first year in college is usually the hardest. It takes time to get into a pattern & realize what is expected of you. It feels like it is just too much to deal with sometimes.
I posted a thread about "College Students with depression, etc. there is hope!!!". I found out about the disabled student services when I went back to college. You can read about it in the post. It may help you get some releif in order to get yourself together.
Don't ever consider yourself a failure. I always had to work harder that everyone else in school just to get by, but with determination, I graduated with an AA in Music & a BS in computer Science (3.25 GPA). I actually found out I was smarter than I ever expected I would be. It just takes adjustment & TIME....but it is definitely worth it because it is something no one can take away from you.
YOU WILL SUCCEED...it happens if you want it.
