I was prescribed Vyvanse this past Thursday by my psychiatrist, but I didn't start taking it until the next day. That was five days ago and I still can't tell if it's working. I remember when I started taking Adderall years ago, my doctor told me that it would take a few weeks to sort of build up in my system. However, I asked my psychiatrist if that was the case for Vyvanse, but he said no, that it should start working immediately. Yet I feel no different, besides it suppressing my appetite. So I'm just wondering for people who are on Vyvanse, did it take a few days or weeks for it to really start working?

By the way I'm on 30mg for the first thirty days, then my psychiatrist said he'll bump me up to 50mg. If 30mg isn't doing it for me, will 50mg make a difference?
