The reason for me asking is because when I am hypomanic (or "revved up") I get quite a few good ideas, of which a few are still good once the episode ends. My goal here is to kind of harness the bipolar disorder and make it into something positive. I realise of course that this may be very risky. I am not saying that one should trigger hypomania by choice but I am rather saying that I would like to utilise the brainstorming capabilities that come along with a hypomanic episode for me.

Any thoughts would be most welcome.
Does anyone else have any experience with the above?
