I have a few good friends, but most of them dont live near me, so we dont get together much. But just knowing that they are my friends makes me feel better. I have one great friend who lives in the same city as me, and I honestly dont know what I would have done without him. When I was a teenager I had a lot of friends, but as we got older we drifted apart, and lost touch. I feel ok about my limited social life, I mostly spend time with my family when I am not alone. I do feel lonely at times, but at the same time I am comfortable in my own little world. People exhaust me, not because I dislike people, but I am exhausted just by the energy it takes to really spend time with others. I have a few hobbies, and my son, and occationally I volunteer here and there. I dont work bec of BP, and I miss having colleagues, like I used to.
