Hi, I'm a 19 year old college student, diagnosed BP1 when I was 17. I currently take 300mg of Seroquel and 600mg Trileptal. I have recently been annoyed by the lack of effect that I feel when I drink. Physically I will become inebriated, but mentally it just doesn't give me the same 'nice' feeling as it normally does, I'll be completely wasted but won't really be enjoying it much. My doctor just decreased me to 150mg of Seroquel, so perhaps this will help a little bit. Any thoughts on which medication may be blunting the effects?
NOTE: Obviously I am aware that I really shouldn't be drinking, but as I am in college, its a big part of my life, and I will sooner ditch the meds than I stop drinking.
