A little overwhelming isn't it? I'm on Prozac and the only real thing I felt from it was sleepy, and terrible nightmares for about 2 1/2 weeks. I feel much better now and still on the 20 mg. original dose.

Sorry I didn't clarify earlier. I didn't mean to scare you! Those were for pre-existing conditions other than the weight loss thing. Seems that most anti-depressants can cause weight loss. Who knew? Ofcourse, to me, that's a plus because I'm about 40 lbs. overweight!

Everybody reacts differently and you can find lots of information on the net regarding side effects of these meds. I think generally our physicians do weigh the pros and cons for us. That's why it's good that our medical and pdocs know our entire history.

I'm sure it'll all work out fine!
