I posted this on a thread I found that was older. I thought maybe someone here might read and could help?

"I'm new here and I understand this is an old thread, but I have a question if anyone is around to answer it- My son is saying that he has lyrics stuck in his head to the point that he is having trouble falling asleep. Also, even if it goes away for a bit, he says that it the middle of having a conversation, it will come back and distract him (like he feels interrupted and loses his train of thought).

He's a great kid, currently not taking any meds, previously diagnosed with anxiety. He's 17 and my dad had schitzo-affective disorder, so I'm always worried that he could manifest with those symptoms.

Otherwise, doing pretty well right now. Don't know if I should worry.
