I have had similar things happen to me. I'm a waitress in a small family run diner, and we work with the radio on all day. When I go into the break room, if a song is playing that I know, I will continue to hear it word for word, note for note, even though I am out of range of the radio speakers, to actually be hearing it. I kind of make myself hear it. I kind of think it's bad for me to do this though. You are not alone. Diagnosed schizoaffective since 1993. Just dealing with it the best I can, everyday.
