I've got two brothers (I'm the youngest) one of them lives next door to them and is up to see the a couple times a day. My parents never socialized so she doesn't have friends to chat with. But her family is huge and she keeps in touch with some of them. She visits with her sister-in-law consistently and both parents stay busy doing yard work and other projects. She started texting me a lot more once she retired.
