I don't have a degree in psychology, but have always been fascinated by the mind, brain, intelligence and behavior and studied it for several years in college after switching to psychology from physics (way back in the day ... 70's) focusing on child psychology and thinking of getting into the therapy or experimental field....but when was on the verge of completing the degree ... about 15 hours or one semester left....I suddenly realized that if I was really serious about it I'd need to go on and get a masters or PhD. I became discouraged and dropped out.
A few year's later after moving states and pursuing my other interests - science, electronics, etc. I went back and spent several years going part time and got an Electrical Engineering/Computer Science degree.
A while after that (as always still interested in human mind/behavior as I am now) I took the gmat and enrolled in graduate school in psychology.....but again dropped it after a few classes.....
I have no expectations of returning to school but am still fascinated and enthralled by the mind, brain, and behavior. I've retired from several decades of a Computer Engineer career and am now pursing another dream of being a poet and writer.
Enjoy!
