It can take time for it to build up before noticing the benefits of it. I've had weight loss surgery. When I was put on new medication my doctor said it would take several weeks to start working. For me it started working in the first week. But I think it's because my stomach is so small. Ever since surgery any medicine I take works usually in less than 15 minutes.
