Do you ever take it less seriously? Or remember something that was sooo dead serious - back then. Something you can now laugh at?

Well: Before i got my diagnosis, i was visiting a shrink every now and then. He gave me a homework to fill up the MDQ. I thought the questions were too black and white, so after checking the boxes i wrote an "explanation" for every answer. Well, it exploded to a novel written around the paper. 2 sided, of course. And as i was just supposed to complete one sentence to other side, i wrote it right in middle of it. Then i got new ideas that had to fit around somewhere etc... etc...

So when i got it back to him, he grabs the paper, looks frontside about 10 seconds and then flips it over. He looked just like a driver of WRC car, rotating paper around like steering wheel of car going 200 kmh at narrow gravel road, as my writings appeared to be quite freely organized around the form.

He places the paper on his desk, looks at me and said: Sir, if you please could stop walking circle around my office and finally sit down, we could change topic of discussion from depression to so called "bipolar disorder". I am very convinced that you are suffering at least hypomanic episode right now.
Thanks for this!
