Beyond fibro, I have been having trouble with my right hip to the point that I'm back on a cane.

Xray, EMG, MRI, and now bone scan all normal for my hips. I went for the bone scan yesterday. I missed my docs call tonight by 5 minutes to go over results so hopefully we will connect tomorrow.

They did ask me if my feet hurt and I kept saying no because I'm concentrating on my right hip, but I have been having trouble with my right heel for a year now. Apparently something must have shown up.

So I went to my PCP today for the annual physical and I unloaded all over her. She looked at where the pain is and said she thinks it is my ilio-sacral joint going out of alignment. That's why when I go to the chiro and massage therapist it feels good for a few hours until I start walking again.

She also looked at my feet after I told her about the bone scan and she said I am moderately flat footed. So, she thinks I may have plantar fasciitis. This would explain that my foot hurts I walk funny, throws the ilio-sacral joint out of wack and there's the hip pain. Sounds like this could be it!

So I am going to a podiatrist next Wednesday and then she wrote me a scrip for physical therapy. The only thing that was a little disturbing is that I wear only Earth Shoes (the kind from the 70's). They have a negative heel and they help my legs and back (or did). The shoes cost like $100 a piece and over the last couple of years I have gotten rid of all other shoes but those. She started to say it may be the shoes. If it is, we got a big problem!

So, keep your fingers crossed that this is what's wrong with me because it should be able to be fixed. At least with the fibro I can still walk. And so I can keep my shoes
