I an artist and musician, and I also really love the environment, gardening, and animals, but so far the only jobs I've had have been in retail. I would be okay with that as just my day job if I didn't have to talk to any customers. I'm pretty shy and introverted, and while I do fairly well greeting customers and helping them, I'm much happier and better suited to working on my own. My bosses would agree with me, since my employment was saved on two separate occasions by the fact that I did so well with production in the back when NOT talking to customers. So what I really hate is customer service. It's hard to avoid that in any part of retail.

I'm working on a website so that I can make money selling my watercolor paintings, but in the meantime I really need to be making money now, not sitting around unemployed waiting for my art money to eventually come in, which isn't even a sure thing (but I'll work my hardest at it). I have no job experience with art, so that makes it hard to get into graphic design, animation, etc. Any ideas of where to look?
