Before anything else, my apologies if this isn't in the right forum, I couldn't find one with a general chat for updates and such.

So last Tuesday I went and took a psyche evaluation test. The psychiatrist was really nice to me too. After answering a good amount of questions in about like 30 minutes? for what usually takes longer, I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. Now it's not severe depression or anything. He ended up asking me if I wanted therapy or medicine and I chose both to try it out.

My mom wasn't too excited on the idea, even if I am a young adult by now who can make her own choices. The medicine they gave me was Citalopram, 10mg and one tablet / pill everyday. I know it takes a bit of time to work but so far I haven't had any real negative thoughts or felt down. I only had the minor side effect of nauseau, but it could've been the heat one day since I went to visit my dad in the hospital right after eating, and the second was probably from my cookies. :P

We are going to see how it is overall after we finish the bottle but I been taking it since Thursday maybe? I kind of forgot. (Bad idea to forget). If anything we'll inform the psychiatrist or I'll do it when I go back in six weeks if I finish it by then.
