Esthersvirtue - Is there a Unity church in your area? It might fit the liberal Christian description. It isn't the same as Unitarian, that's something different, though that might interest you, too.

Unitarian must be online now - in the old days, they had a church-by-mail for those living in places with no Unitarians.
