Everyday. We never had a good or close relationship. She was very abusive. But she is well into her 80's so I know time is precious for her. She has Alzheimers. So sometimes I will unload a bit or vent, she forgets the next day anyways, or even an hour later. She never really listened to me or understood my problems, so this way I get to "pretend" she understands and listens. Doesn't always work, I still often get the same crap, but she has changed personalities sometimes so it freaks me out. She'll be all kind and empathetic. It's like "Who are you, and what have you done with my mom?"
