Are you saying you don't think the assessment they did was legitimate? Sounds like they spent a lot of time with you - that should count for something. Did they have a speech pathologist and occupational therapist meet with you as well as a psychologist?

From your perspective were they incorrect in saying your parents abused and neglected you?

As healingme4me said, an assessment by a neurologist would be another step to take.
