I probably shouldn't have mentioned these 'mini seizures' as I called them.More like an electric jolt I get sometimes when I lie down to sleep.This could just be me and have nothing to do with the medication!!(must stress this!)

The only prob I had really was withdrawal If I missed taking Effexdor 1 day...that it really.Otherwise I think its an excellent anti-depressant and really helps with my anxiety.

Cant honestly say Ive ever had a loss of memory using effexor and like you said this is probably very rare.
